Get a taste of authentic Italian cuisine at Sammy's Brunswick with a choice of pasta, seafood or steaks. Owner Sammy Baranello said customers have a choice of 16 traditional pizzas and if that is not enough, there are eight gourmet pizzas on the menu.

Regular customers keep coming back to enjoy the fun vibe that makes Brunswick unique. The menu is diverse with dishes to please everyone. A favourite is the cajun atlantic salmon served with avocado salsa. Steak lovers enjoy the chargrilled ribeye steak with either a mushroom or peppercorn sauce served with vegetables or garden salad. Keep some room for desserts. Try the tiramisu made with mascarpone cheese and whipped cream or the crespelle - crepes with strawberries soaked in liqueur and served with ice cream.

For a special occasion Sammy's Brunswick has three banquets from $22, $32 to $48 per person. He said the top banquet is truly a feast. After entree there is a focaccia, a flat oven-baked Italian bread. Next comes the antipasto of cold meats, cheeses and marinated vegetables For the main course customers can opt for fish, porterhouse steak or chicken or veal parmigiana. Sammy's has a good selection of wines from Italy, New Zealand and Australia and Sammy is happy to advise what goes best with the dishes.
